Outputs
Target Audience:To date, I have attended two advanced drone training sessions to understand better how to make a complete drone mapping program to train our students here at Alcorn State University and our local farmers. I have purchased computers and drones to complete this process. Changes/Problems: Nothing Reported What opportunities for training and professional development has the project provided? Nothing Reported How have the results been disseminated to communities of interest? Nothing Reported What do you plan to do during the next reporting period to accomplish the goals?I am planning to have more training sessions in Pix4d and more flight training sessions in New Orleans and Atlanta. I also plan to purchase more drones for research.

Impacts
What was accomplished under these goals? I have done two advanced drone training classes in Houston, Texas, to get certified in drone mapping. I have had one advanced drone training session with Dr. Lashounda Anderson at Southern University to get a better understanding of flying drones in restricted airspace and how to get authorization and certificate of waiver. I have purchased two laptops and one high-end desk top computer for processing images taken by drones.
