Outputs
Target Audience:Southern SARE program grants are offered to farmers, researchers, extension professionals, educators, non-profits, community based organizations and community activists in the agricultural community. This specifically calls for research and education efforts to promote the development and adoption of farming methods, using sustainable agriculture research and education findings, alternative farming systems, and encouraging agricultural production practices that are compatible with sustained human and environmental well-being. The target audiences for the S-SARE PDP funded proposals are agricultural professionals, researchers, non-governmental organizations, governmental organizations, farmer trainers, and others who work directly with farmers and ranchers on sustainable Ag efforts. Southern SARE funds several different competitive grant programs and each type of grant benefits a different constituency.
