Outputs Target Audience:The target audiences of this project were: (1) Students of the College of Agricultural Science. (2) Faculty of the College of Agricultural Science. Changes/Problems:On 2020, Dr. Irma Laurence, National Program Leader, authorized the concentration of the project budget during the first year of the project in order to serve the faculty during the pandemic. Therefore, the trainings and equipment distribution that were supposed to be offered in 3 years were provided to the faculty in one year. The project trained and offered technical support to all the professors of the College of Agricultural Sciences and the College of Business Administration of the UPRM during the pandemic. What opportunities for training and professional development has the project provided?The project offered individual training on Online class, Moodle, and Online class environment to the participant faculty. How have the results been disseminated to communities of interest?The project project was disseminated through an Online web page: https://www.uprm.edu/ntta. What opportunities for training and professional development has the project provided?Assistance on Camtasia and Moodle. How have the results been disseminated to communities of interest?The project uses email to inform faculty members about training opportunities and equipment distribution. What do you plan to do during the next reporting period to accomplish the goals?The project will offer support to 10 faculty members for the transformation of face to face courses to a distance education fashion.
Impacts What was accomplished under these goals?
The project accomplished two goals by providing trainings and assistance to the CAS faculty members.

However, we were able to turn this into an opportunity and offer help and support on the distance education transition. What opportunities for training and professional development has the project provided?On March 16 2020 10AM Dr. Julio César Hernández offered the workshop Classes supplemented with internet technologies to the faculty of Agricultural Sciences where 28 faculty members were invited and 17 were present. This workshop discussed topics such as G Suite, Moodle . On April 16 2020 1PM Dr. Julio César Hernández offered the workshop Classes supplemented with internet technologies to the faculty of Agriculture where 42 were invited and 23 were present. This workshop discussed topics such as G Suite, Moodle . On May 17 2020 1PM Dr. Julio César Hernández offered the workshop "Classes supplemented with internet technologies" to the faculty of Agriculture where 53 were invited and 28 were present. This workshop discussed topics such as G Suite, Moodle . On June 18 2020 10AM Dr. Julio César Hernández offered the workshop 'Classes supplemented with internet technologies' to the faculty of Agriculture where 37 were invited and 19 were present.
