Non Technical Summary
The economic impact of the Green Industry on state, regional, and national economies is considerable. A key objective of this project is to understand the economic contribution of the Green Industry to the national and regional economy. Georgia will contribute in numerous ways, notably working in collaboration with other participating states in the collection and analysis of economic data to value the economic contributions of the Green Industry to the national and regional economies. Furthermore, Georgia, in conjunction with other states when appropriate, will model the impact of the Green Industry on select economies, such as on a state basis. The projected outcomes will allow federal and state policy makers key insights into the impacts of changing legislation surrounding the Green Industry.
