The New York Water Environment Association (NYWEA) was established in 1929, and is a non-profit educational membership organization, consisting of over 2,000 members across the state of New York. NYWEA members are experts in the field of water quality management and through its Board of Directors, Chapters, and Committee structures provides knowledge on highly technical issues including but not limited to; government affairs, collection systems, pretreatment, industrial wastewater, residuals management, safety, research, and environmental science.
