1. Identify the sexual system and genome size of Gymnocladus dioicus. 2. Characterize germplasm diversity.
Project Methods
Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) isolation will be executed using standard cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) extraction. Illumina polymerase chain reaction (PCR) genome sequencing will be used to identify the sexual system of G. dioicus.
