Goals / Objectives
This project aims to develop breeding resources and to understand pathogen biology for soybean frogeye leaf spot.
Project Methods
1. Screening soybean germplasm for new source of resistance 2. Characterize previously identified source of resistance and identify associated molecular markers to facilitate breeding 3. Collect pathogen isolates across Indiana, examine its virulence spectrum against a set of differentials 4. Characterize pathogen population structure and potential sexual recombination
