Goals / Objectives
To assist the ASABE society by helping with the registration fee for the minorities and low income category students to be able to participate in this scientific meetings, share their research findings, and discuss solutions related to watershed technology issues.
Project Methods
The $5000.00 fund awarded is for supporting this conference, primarily will be used to underwrite the hard costs associated with registration fees (for minotity and low income students and graduate students). The hard costs also include the daily transportation of the participants from local hotels to the meeting site, proceedings expenses, and a percentage of the cost is associated with equipment rental for poster boards, tables and chairs, audio visual and assist with room fees. Major goal is the hope of ASABE and other sponsors to entice student participation from around the globe with a nonminal registration fee for their involvement and participation.
