Project Methods
An accredited quality assurance officer will conduct inspections of analytical raw data and final reports for GLP compliance prior to submission of data to the U.S. EPA.

Progress 06/01/06 to 02/28/11

Outputs
Progress Report Objectives (from AD-416) For Rutgers University to conduct quality assurance and quality control audits of raw data and final reports for compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) regulations pending submission of data to the U.S. EPA. Approach (from AD-416) An accredited quality assurance officer will conduct inspections of analytical raw data and final reports for GLP compliance prior to submission of data to the U.S. EPA. This project, which was terminated on February 28, 2011, funded the required quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) audits for the work conducted and finished under the parent project. QA/QC auditors, supplied by Rutgers University, conducted site and report audits in a timely fashion as requested by ARS. Financial status was updated throughout the reporting year in quarterly reports; a final report was filed. Monitoring activities were accomplished through phone calls.

This report serves to document research/services conducted under a grant between ARS-Environmental Management and Byproduct Utilization Laboratory and Rutgers University. Additional details of research can be found in the report for the parent project 0500-00007-081-00D entitled, ANALYSIS OF PEST CONTROL RESIDUES IN CROPS FOR IR-4 MINOR USE REGISTRATION. This project supported the required quality assurance and quality control audits during the conduct of work supported by the parent project. This is a new project that was established in June 2006 with the $15,000.
