The results were disseminated via talks and discussion at the conference. Papers from selected talks are being published in the book of Conference Proceedings: New Crops: Bioenergy, Biomaterials and Sustainability. What do you plan to do during the next reporting period to accomplish the goals?
Nothing Reported
Impacts What was accomplished under these goals?
The Conference: New Crops: Bioenergy, Biomaterials and Sustainability, was held October 13-16, 2013. Even though our meeting fell in the middle of the 2013 Government shut-down, the meeting was still a big success and one of our most interesting meetings ever. The addition of talks from AFRI grant PIs were excellent. We lost about 25% of our original attendees due to the shut-down but still had a record attendance.
