PROJECT MODIFICATIONS: Webfish Pacific emailed Program Officer on 10.11.11, notifying him that we had changed strategies for the number of our Research Specialists to conduct interviews with family participants. Rather than contracting only with M. Weisman to conduct pre and post interviews on both Oahu and the Big Island (this would have extended our research period, and her full-time employment was extended unexpectedly), we contracted with one Research Specialist who lives on the Big Island, J. deCosta, and four on Oahu, M. Weisman, G. Flynn, K. Bentley, and S. Driscoll. Webfish Pacific applied for and was granted a no-cost extension because we needed to schedule evaluation activities to more effectively coincide with Early Head Start program cycles. These are the only significant modifications to our approved proposal.
Impacts Approximately 90% of the data has been entered. We are just starting to run and analyze INDEPTH pre/post surveys. Research Team, including Dr. Wilson, Ms. Taba, Dr. DeBaryshe, Dr. Singh convened in 8.2012 and 9.2012 to coordinate data anaysis and report writing. We will continue to finalize data entry and move toward analysis. Results of data analysis and reporting on findings, techniques, and other products will be included in final report with a target deadline of 2/15/12.
