Goals / Objectives
Develop monitoring programs that measure ecological conditions or integrity of communities and ecosystems. Apply indicators in tiers (subset of attributes) and assign integrity ranks. Develop sequence of steps to classify and map community/ecosystem types; develop conceptual models; develop measurement criteria and key factors for long-term monitoring; pilot approach in specific parks; provide methodological guidelines for sampling needs.
Project Methods
Provide detail conceptual framework as to how monitoring frames can be established in network of parks with pilot demonstration project.
