Sr. Director of the OAES Field and Research Services Unit, OAES, through the Office of Fiscal Affairs, will direct the operation, management, personnel, and budgets of the Field and Research Service Units including 17-outlying research stations, Ento/Plant Pathology farm, CERL, Ridge Road Greenhouse, Noble Research Center Greenhouses and Bio-safety lab, all pesticide storage facilities, and any other facilities that may come on line or fit into the Unit in the future. To direct, coordinate, consolidate, and increase efficiency of the Field and Research Service Units (FRSU) in order to provide better support to DASNR faculty who are conducting research and demonstrations on these sites.

Goals / Objectives
To direct, coordinate, consolidate, and increase efficiency of the Field and Research Service Units (FRSU) in order to provide better support to DASNR faculty who are conducting research and demonstrations on these sites. Research efficiency will be increased by optimizing space utilization for research and production and will also provide equal access opportunities to any faculty member at any location. A systematic means for facility upgrade, maintenance, and repair of equipment and infrastructure will be provided. Improvement of efficiency and infrastructure will increase grant opportunities for project leaders in OAES.
Project Methods
Sr. Director of the OAES Field and Research Services Unit, OAES, through the Office of Fiscal Affairs, will direct the operation, management, personnel, and budgets of the Field and Research Service Units including 17-outlying research stations, Ento/Plant Pathology farm, CERL, Ridge Road Greenhouse, Noble Research Center Greenhouses and Bio-safety lab, all pesticide storage facilities, and any other facilities that may come on line or fit into the Unit in the future. Specific responsibilities include providng direction for the management of the entire Field and Research Services Unit, existing station personnel including evaluation of station superintendents and oversight of personnel job descriptions, recruiting , hiring, salary equity, appraisal, and termination of station A&P and classified personnel.
