To develop an education extension program targeting vertical marketing of household and community agricultural resources and emphasizing economic viability on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation.
Project Methods
Si Tanka University will develop a small scale jerky processing capability, provide workshops covering product to profit, and coordinate vertical marketing of local products. The project budget is $99,954 over 12 months. A Beef Processing Coordinator will be hired to coordinate project activities.
