Progress 10/01/03 to 09/30/04

Outputs
The Dairy Education Unit currently conducts research in sustainable forage systems, pasture grazing management, feedstuff by-products, and embyro transfer methodology.

Impacts
Research at the Dairy Education Unit will aid smaller, family dairies to remain profitable by maximizing the use of low cost forage and the use of less expensive feedstuff by-products. Improved success with embyro transfer techniques will enable more rapid genetic improvement.
