Project Methods
Residue and efficacy trials will be conducted and documented according to IR-4 protocol and Good Laboratory Practices as prepared by USDA. Continued efforts will be made to cooperate with industry and IR-4 in establishing field plots useful in the development and registration of microbial and specific biochemical materials for use in IPM programs.

Progress 01/01/01 to 12/31/01

Outputs
During 2001, the following 18 projects were completed: Cyprodinil & Fludioxonil, snap beans; two projects Cyprodinil & Fludioxonil, lima beans; two projects BAS 510 & 500, spinach; two projects Emamectin Benzoate, cucumber; Cyromazine, snap beans; Pyriproxifen, onion; Cyprodinil & Fludioxonil, lettuce; Diflubenzuron, peanut; Imidicloprid, chive; azoxystrobin, chive; azoxystrobin, dill; two projects methoxyfenozide, lima beans; BAS 510, lima beans; BAS 500 & 510, tomato. Also, ten ornamental projects were completed. Maryland sent representatives to the following IR-4 meetings: National Training Session in San Antonio, TX; IR-4 Food Use Workshop in Fort Collins, CO; and the Annual Meeting in Tulsa, OK. One article was written about IR-4 for the 2001 IPM Progress Report for the University of Maryland.

Impacts

Progress 01/01/95 to 12/30/95

Outputs
During 1995 four food use projects were completed in Maryland. They included glyphosate on squash, metolachlor on collards and imidacloprid on lima beans and spinach. Also, one ornamental project (Bentazon/azaleas) was completed. Bentazon was tested on azaleas at four different sites because of crop sensitivity. Additionally, the Principal Investigator of this project attended the IR-4, SOR/NER regional meeting in Newport, Rhode Island and reported on the status of those projects conducted during 1995 in Maryland.
