Goals / Objectives
Objective One: Increase student services via increased personnel capacity.Measurable Outcome - The AAR counselor will provide services (academic advising, tutoring, etc.) to at least 75 students per term and those students will persist towards graduation.Measurable Outcome - National Student Clearinghouse data will be used to ensure that program participants persist at 85% in reaching graduation either from their primary institution or a transfer institution.Objective Two: All college courses will come with texts and/or course materials at no charge to the student.Measurable Outcome - 100% of texts were provided at no charge to project participants.Objective Three: All students who receive texts from the project will receive tuition waivers of $169 a credit to cover the costs of their coursework.Measurable Outcome - 100% of the students who enroll in college credit courses will receive a $169 tuition waiver per $170 semester credit.
Project Methods
The impact of the project is to allow an extremely affordable option to gain college credit, certificate,associate degree or a bachelor'sdegreein thestudent'schoice of study. The increased marketing and enrollment will lead to more Native American students leaving college with credentials.
