The goal of the project is to facilitate the development of 200 Global Youth Ambassadors in 20allied countries of the US, over 5 years, through exposure to models of high-level agriculturalresearch and high-growth sustainable agricultural enterprises that can be replicated in theircountries, recognizing the impact of climate changes, environmental impairment, andentrepreneurship.

Goals / Objectives
Goal: If youth are exposed to and allowed to interact with positive examples, then they will be able to form a cadre of individuals to demonstrate to at-risk youth opportunities and privileges that are available to change the course of their lives. The goal is to develop 200 Global Youth Ambassadors in 20 countries, over 5 years, to serve as role models for the New Producers of Tomorrow in Agriculture, Allied Industries, and Entrepreneurship.Specific ObjectivesTo expose 42 students from the US and selected countries in Africa, Caribbean, and Latin America to examples of successful strategies and solutions in Food and Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Security, Food Safety, Climate-Smart Agriculture, Investment & Financial Literacy, Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Public Safety, At-Risk Intervention Strategies, and Youth-Driven Mental Health Support Systems.To facilitate a forum for students/youth to understand the importance of agriculture, allied industries, and technological integration towards diversification of agricultural industries and the role it plays in the development and production of products.To expose youth to models of agricultural research conducted at US Universities and USDA programs that support Aagriculture and Allied ServicesTo build a platform for Networking and Capacity building of international youth in agriculture, allied industries, leadership, technology, and entrepreneurship.
Project Methods
Through existing relationships as demonstrated in more than 60 MOUs and partnerships with various local and international agencies, organizations, and institutions, a cadre of youth will be recruited to participate in the Summit. In addition, an online platform will be used to channel participation of targeted beneficiaries that have the capacity to be pioneering young individuals. The Institute will reach out to partners in various countries and solicit their support in scaling-up existing activities to attract the youth.The platform will used the following Clinics and ModulesClinic 1Module 1.
