Non Technical Summary
The proposed project will support tribal students through tuition support, textbook costs, and will directly increase student services for these students by creating an Admissions, Advising, and Registration full time position to support the current AAR position. The project has three main goals. The first goal is to ensure that all high school students who would like to enroll in college level coursework are not deterred by the cost of the course or the cost of supporting materials. The second goal is to ensure that every student has a textbook for their courses. The third and final goal for year two is to make sure students who enroll at the Nebraska Indian Community College have the necessary student services, including academic advising, tutoring services and any other specialized help they may need.
