What do you plan to do during the next reporting period to accomplish the goals?- Current focus is on the renovation of multiple labs and the necessary paper works are being prepared to start this project as soon as possible. - Begin and complete renovation of existing Carden-Waller Building - Request USDA approval to add new objective to renovate create new lab and office spaces in CARC Building - Begin and complete renovation of new lab and office spaces
Impacts What was accomplished under these goals?
The following objectives 1a(ii) and 1b were cancelled: remodel research laboratory spaces for Lab #168 and 169 and remodeling and upgrading the shared facility for autoclaving alware-cleaning and storage for Lab #150 and 151. Funds for these objectives were redirected to the following new objectives 6a(i): roof replacement at the IGRC, 6a(ii): roof replacement at the Cooperative Agricultural Research Center (CARC), 7: fencing for PVAMU demonstration farm and 8: replacement of the A/C and walk-cooler and freezers at the Poultry Center.
