Goals / Objectives
The objectives of this research are: 1) test new fungicides available to wheat growers and develop best management protocols, 2) evaluate current fungicides for efficacy on FHB in wheat and 3) educate growers and processors on best management practices for producing high quality wheat in Pennsylvannia.
Project Methods
The researcher will conduct fungicide trials in Pennsylvania in order to determine the best management strategies for wheat growers in this region. Growers will be educated on the best methods for producing high quality wheat through field days, workshops, meetings, newsletters and other media outlets.
